Moderation

Drupal 10 uses a moderation process so any change to content is reviewed by the Brand and Marketing department before it goes live on the site.

Editors have access to set a 'draft' and 'for review' state on content.

Draft:

  • Any changes with the page in 'draft' state are not not visible to the public
  • The editor can make unlimited changes and save the changes, then come back to changes at a later time
  • Only site editors can see pages that are in 'draft' state
  • 'Draft' changes can be seen in the 'Latest version' tab on a page

For review:

  • Change content to 'for review' when it is to be published
  • When content is place in the 'for review' state, and email is sent to Brand and Marketing for content review.  If the content passes review the draft content becomes live and is now visible to the public
  • Live content is seen in the 'View' tab on a page

The following video shows working with the moderation process.
