Event listings are managed through our centralized event system at events.viu.ca. There are two options for managing events:
Submit events into the main system (most common)
- Most events are managed in the main event system. Go to http://events.viu.ca/submit to create a new event
- Events are reviewed prior to publishing

Separate event site
- In rare cases an event sub-site may be necessary. The indigenous event site is an example of this set up
- A sub-site useful when there are there are a lot of events associated with a topic and a user can oversee all the events at once
- Events can be optionally fed into the main event feed at events.viu.ca
