Events

Event listings are managed through our centralized event system at events.viu.ca.  There are two options for managing events:

Submit events into the main system (most common)

  • Most events are managed in the main event system. Go to http://events.viu.ca/submit to create a new event
  • Events are reviewed prior to publishing
  • For assistance contact info@viu.ca

Separate event site

  • In rare cases an event sub-site may be necessary.  The indigenous event site is an example of this set up
  • A sub-site useful when there are there are a lot of events associated with a topic and a user can oversee all the events at once
  • Events can be optionally fed into the main event feed at events.viu.ca
