Microsoft Teams: How do I request a new team?

Step 1

Read the Microsoft Teams Guidelines

Step 2

Submit a ticket to ithelp@viu.ca with the following information:

• Date required by:
• Team owner:
• Secondary owner:
• Department:
• Microsoft Team name:
• Microsoft Team description (1-2 sentences max):
• I have read and agree to the Teams Guidelines (Initials):

The IT department will then review your request and provide you with instructions once the Team has been created.
