Problem:
When trying to open a PDF you get an error that reads:
"Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document."
Cause:
Some organizations set up their PDFs so they won’t open in web browsers for security and compatibility reasons. Because of this, you might see a "Please wait..." error when trying to open certain PDFs in your browser.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, users should view the file in Adobe Acrobat. From Adobe Acrobat, click Menu > Open, browse to your file and click Open.
