Installing the GlobalProtect VPN Client

Download the GlobalProtect app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS)

Open the GlobalProtect app from the Android or iOS home screen
- Type in vpn.viu.ca in the "Address" field, then click Connect

GlobalProtect will ask if it can configure your VPN settings. It should look like one of the screenshots below. Click Allow or OK.
- Enter your VIU email address (e.g. jane.doe@viu.ca) and password, then click Sign In

You are now connected to the VPN

Open the GlobalProtect app from the Android or iOS home screen

Tap the shield icon to connect
