Voicemail Instructions - For Mitel VoIP (Nanaimo, Cowichan, Powell River, Parksville)

Voicemail Best Practices
Delete Voicemail Regularly
- Regularly delete your voicemail messages.
- If you can't access your voicemail, allow your area secretary to manage it during your extended absence.
Temporary Greetings (CallPilot)
Record a temporary greeting when you're away from campus, mentioning your absence and expected return date.
To set a temporary greeting:
- Enter the voicemail system.
- Press 82 for greetings.
- Press 3 for Temporary Greeting.
- Press 5 to Record, 2 to Review, 9 to set an expiry date/time, and 4 to exit.
- Don't forget to log out by pressing 83.
Accessing Voicemail (CallPilot)
- You can access your voicemail from anywhere with phone service.
- Dial voicemail number 250-740-6345.
- Enter your four-digit local or mailbox number followed by #.
- Enter your voicemail password followed by #.
- Access your voicemail as usual.
- Log off the system by pressing 83 and then hang up.
